The staff were diligent and dedicated too. It had good and beautiful location, next to Congleton and Macclesfield with a very pleasant period restaurant serving excellent meals as well as other local pub / restaurants in area.

Nice comfortable rooms, which open straight onto the car-park as they are in a row of converted barns/stables. This was brilliant as I was travelling with my dogs and made taking them out much easier. The staff were all welcoming, and I wished I could have stayed longer. Breakfast was superb, large selection of fruit juices and a really well cooked full English.Next time I am in the area I will be back.

It was convenient to a location where we were attending a wedding. Easy parking and nice big room Rooms clean with Coffee/Tea making facilities Right opposite the pub for any meals etc
Room was cold and the duvet was thin and not really sufficient. Did find a blanket and another couple of pillows. decor bit tired and could do with a refresh

We booked as a large familey for a wedding reception and overnight stay. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the day. Would recommend for a weekend away or just a meal out.

Spacious rooms, Beautiful beer garden, Fine wedding venue
Noise disturbances from events were quite disruptive at night!!! I also noticed inconsistency with food quality during peak times, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

Consider requesting additional tea bags upfront for your stay if you're a tea enthusiast. it's a small detail that can enhance your comfort.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable and there was ample parking. We would recommend the restaurant the food is of a high standard and service excellent ,we couldn't fault it. Breakfast was amazing with nine items on the full english, again very well prepared and served. We chose The Plough Inn as we had to break our jouney from Cornwall to Scotland and it was within easy reach of the m6, good decision.
The combination of the tv and digital tuner had us beaten for about half an hour, not having come across this before. It would have been a good idea to have some instuctions in the room. However once sussed the picture was perfect.
